Very cozy and cute cafe, plenty of parking, great seating with "share table signs if you wanted. Great service and amazing coffee. Had the pumpkin spice Latte.

I have been coming here for years and enjoy the high quality authentic German baked goods - reminiscent of offerings from my German grandmother. A very inclusive atmosphere is also important to me. Provides a delicious sanctuary of hope!
Since going dairy free I’ve missed pastries. Have pretty much only had really expensive bad ones until today! The Apfeltasche was amazing!! It was the only dairy free pastry I saw but one dairy free pastry is better than none, and it was great!!

I picked up some baked goods recently on my visit to Kaffeeklatsch. The pretzels were the best I’ve ever had and the mustard sauce went great with them. I am a big fan of sour dough bread and was excited to try their rye bread loaf. The bread had a great flavor to it but it was really dense. I do not have much experience with German bread but it tastes authentic. They used to have soups for lunch pre covid. I really wish they bring it back.

They are best known for their pretzels, made using a traditional recipe that includes boiling the dough in lye water to get the chewy texture vital in pretzels. They also offer a wide range of breads and pastries for sale, plus breakfast sandwiches and coffees. The interior space is spacious with a high ceiling. Other touches that reinforce the ethnic atmosphere are the German flag outside the entrance, the German word of the day sign on the front counter, and the German radio station playing in the background. They are also very involved in the Lake City community, working with the local community council and food bank. This is a great place if you are at all interested in German baking.
very friendly staff and people that occupy this space, makes me feel very hopeful. Food and coffee is made with love and you can tell. can't recommend it enough.
Came here as a little safe care treat. I got an iced mocha and pretzel with the mustard dip. It all tasted so good and got a comfy seat in the corner.
This was the second time I went with my mom. Their pretzels are delicious. The cardamom coffee cake they have on weekends is delicious and surprisingly filling. The staff were very nice, and helpful. The building itself has a very cozy vibe to it, it’s quiet and peaceful and still has adequate space so you don’t feel squished. Can’t wait to come back!
